Boundary Dam - SaskPower
SaskPower is developing one of the world's first and largest integrated clean coal/CCS sequestration demonstration projects at the Boundary Dam Power Station in Estevan, Saskatchewan. The federal and Saskatchewan Provincial governments and industry partnership plan to fully integrate a coal-fired generation unit with carbon capture and an enhanced oil recovery (EOR) operation, resulting in low-emission electricity generation and carbon dioxide for oil extraction.
